Church-Led Equipped Engagement Opportunities
Allegheny Center Alliance Church (ACAC), Pittsburgh, PA and the Western PA District of the Alliance founded and hosts EMBRACE, a network of churches, humanitarian and faith based entities with a mission to Encourage Missional Bridges, Relationships, and Collaborative Endeavors that demonstrate the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to local global neighbors.
EMBRACE coordinates welcoming services, transportation, home furnishing, health care and social service appointments for newly arriving resettling families.
EMBRACE regional welcome centers equip local church and other volunteers to provide English as a Second Language (ESL), citizenship exam tutoring and other needed services to refugee and immigrant groups.
